This is my first official post, and I am having some issues with making this initial approach. I could spend a lot of time expounding on why, but even acknowledgement of the irony of my actions would not suffice to disclaim the hypocrisy herein.

Basically, I have some difficulty with the general concept of the blog. In fact, to be honest, I really don’t even like the term “blog”. But for practical purposes it was necessary for this section of the site to be referred to as such. So, while there are many thoughtful, useful, and provocative blogs out there, my instinctive distaste for the remainder withstands.

Others can say it better than I, and thus allow me to limit my pretense by keeping this entry relatively short. So take a look at these articles if you like….
